Health and Safety Protocol:
At Paperdoll Art Studio, the safety and well-being of our participants and staff are of the utmost importance. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, the following health and safety protocols are in place for all team and group classes:
General Safety Guidelines:
Adherence to Instructions: All participants must strictly follow the health and safety instructions provided by the instructor at the beginning of and throughout the session. Failure to comply may result in removal from the class without a refund.
Safe Use of Materials:
Participants must use materials, tools, and equipment as directed by the instructor to prevent accidents or injuries.
Studio Environment:
Organised Workspace: Participants are encouraged to maintain a clean and clutter-free workspace to minimise risks such as slips, trips, or spills. Shared spaces should be respected to ensure the comfort and safety of others.
Fire Safety:
The studio is equipped with fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and clearly marked fire exits. Emergency evacuation procedures will be explained at the start of the class.
Protective Measures:
Protective Gear: When required, protective equipment such as aprons, gloves, or goggles will be provided and must be worn during specific activities. Participants should dress appropriately for an art class, as some materials may stain clothing.
Allergies and Sensitivities:
Participants with known allergies or sensitivities to art materials (e.g., paints, inks, solvents, nuts) must notify Paperdoll Art Studio in advance. While every effort will be made to accommodate sensitivities, participants should bring any necessary personal protective equipment, such as masks or gloves.
Medical Conditions:
Individuals with medical conditions or physical limitations that may affect participation should inform the organiser or instructor beforehand. Adjustments will be made where possible to ensure inclusivity and comfort.
Illness:
Participants experiencing symptoms of illness, such as fever or coughing, should not attend the class. If illness occurs after booking, the session can be rescheduled with adequate notice.
First Aid Availability:
Basic first aid supplies are kept on-site for treating minor injuries such as cuts or abrasions.
Accident Reporting:
Any injuries, accidents, or incidents must be reported immediately to the instructor, who will log the incident and provide appropriate support.
Child and Minor Safety:
Adult Supervision: Children and minors must be supervised by a responsible adult unless prior written arrangements have been made. Instructors are not responsible for the direct supervision of children.
Parental Consent:
For minors attending without their guardians, signed parental consent forms are required.
Fire and Evacuation Procedures:
Evacuation Plan: In the event of an emergency, participants must follow the instructor's directions to evacuate the studio promptly and safely. Fire exits are clearly marked, and an evacuation route will be communicated at the start of the class.

Personal Responsibility: Participants take part in the class at their own risk. While every effort is made to ensure safety, Paperdoll Art Studio cannot be held liable for injuries resulting from participant negligence or failure to follow health and safety guidelines.
