Gift Certificate – Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before purchasing or redeeming a gift certificate. By purchasing, receiving or using a gift certificate, the purchaser and recipient agree to the following conditions.

Validity Period

Gift certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

The certificate must be redeemed and the selected session must take place within this validity period. It is the responsibility of the purchaser and recipient to check the expiry date and book in sufficient time.

Expiry dates are strictly enforced. No extensions, renewals, credits or reinstatements will be granted once a gift certificate has expired.

Availability may be limited during weekends, holidays and busy periods, so we strongly recommend booking well in advance. Limited availability close to the expiry date will not qualify the certificate for an extension.

Non-Refundable

Gift certificates are strictly non-refundable and cannot be exchanged, partially refunded or redeemed for cash.

Any unused balance remaining on a certificate will not be refunded or paid out in cash.

Rescheduling Policy

A session booked using a gift certificate may be rescheduled up to three times, provided sufficient notice is given and the replacement session takes place within the original 12-month validity period.

Rescheduling does not extend or restart the gift certificate’s expiry date.

After three reschedules, no further date changes can be accommodated. Failure to attend the final scheduled session will result in the booking and certificate value being forfeited.

Transferability

Gift certificates may be transferred to another individual. The certificate holder must inform us in advance so that the recipient’s details can be updated.

The original expiry date and all existing terms and conditions will continue to apply after the transfer.

Redeeming the Certificate

Gift certificates may only be redeemed against the class, experience, package or service specified at the time of purchase.

They cannot be used towards another class, product, upgrade, private booking or additional service unless written approval has been provided by Alma Tipon t/a Paperdoll Art Studio.

Where an approved alternative costs more than the value of the certificate, the remaining balance must be paid before the booking is confirmed.

Gift certificates cannot be combined with promotional codes, discounts or other offers unless expressly stated.

Booking Requirements

All bookings are subject to availability and must be made through the appropriate booking process.

Providing a gift certificate code does not automatically reserve a space. A booking is only confirmed once an official booking confirmation has been issued.

The recipient is responsible for choosing a suitable session and ensuring that all age, supervision and class-specific requirements are met.

Missed Appointments and Late Cancellations

Failure to attend a confirmed session without the required notice will be treated as a missed appointment.

The booking and certificate value will be forfeited, and no refund, replacement session, credit or extension will be provided.

Guests who arrive too late to participate may also be treated as a missed appointment.

Expired Gift Certificates

Once a gift certificate reaches its stated expiry date, it will automatically become invalid.

No extension will be granted after expiry under any circumstances. Expired gift certificates cannot be reactivated, transferred, refunded, exchanged or converted into studio credit.

Illness, travel, forgotten certificates, personal circumstances, failure to book in advance or limited availability near the expiry date will not override this policy.

Alma Tipon t/a Paperdoll Art Studio reserves the right to refuse any request that falls outside these terms and conditions.
