Splatter Class – Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking, attending the session, or accompanying a participant under the age of 18, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Participation in the Intro Splatter Class is subject to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Age Requirements

The Intro Splatter Class is suitable for participants aged 7 and over.

Participants aged 7–16 must attend with a participating adult aged 18 or over. The accompanying adult must remain present throughout the full session, take part in the experience and be responsible for supervising the young person.

Alma Tipon t/a Paperdoll Art Studio reserves the right to refuse entry where these age and supervision requirements are not met.

3. Health and Safety

Participants must follow all instructions given by the artist hosts at all times.

The Studio reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, aggressive, intoxicated, or likely to negatively affect the experience of others.

No refund will be given where participation is refused or terminated due to failure to comply with safety instructions or these Terms & Conditions.

4. Paints and Materials

Splatter painting is a messy activity, and paint may come into contact with clothing, footwear, skin or personal belongings.

We recommend wearing items you do not mind getting paint on and keeping valuables safely stored. Alma Tipon t/a Paperdoll Art Studio cannot accept responsibility for paint damage to personal belongings.

5. Protective Clothing

Complimentary pre-used protective coveralls are provided for your session. Brand-new adult coveralls may also be available as an optional add-on.

While protective clothing helps reduce paint transfer, it cannot guarantee complete protection. We recommend wearing clothes and footwear that you do not mind getting messy.

6. Medical Conditions and Allergies

Participants are responsible for ensuring that the activity is suitable for them.

Any allergies, medical conditions, disabilities, sensory sensitivities, injuries, pregnancy, or support requirements should be considered before booking.

Paperdoll Art Studio is not a medical provider and cannot provide medical advice.

Participation is undertaken entirely at the participant's own discretion and responsibility.

Guests requiring assistance should attend with a carer or support person.

7. Alcohol Consumption

This is a public session, and some adult guests may choose to enjoy alcohol before or during the class.

To keep the experience safe and enjoyable for everyone, anyone who appears overly intoxicated, disruptive or unable to participate safely may be refused entry or asked to leave without a refund.

8. Photography and Marketing

Photographs and videos may be taken during sessions for use on the Studio's website, social media channels, marketing materials, and promotional content.

By attending, participants consent to such use unless they notify the Studio in before the session begins.

9. Artwork Collection

Your painting will need time to dry and will be ready for collection three days after your session. There is no need to contact us before visiting.

Collection details are available at:

paperdollartstudio.co.uk/art-collection

Due to limited storage space, paintings must be collected within 14 days of your session.

To take your painting home on the day, takeaway boxes are available for £5 each.

10. Arrival Times

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled start time, as classes begin promptly.

Guests arriving more than 10 minutes late may be unable to join, particularly during public sessions where late entry could disrupt the experience for others.

Unfortunately, refunds, credits or rescheduling cannot be offered for late arrivals or missed sessions.

Paperdoll Art Studio accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or their contents.

12. Accessibility and Support Requirements

Splatter painting is an active, sensory experience involving movement, wet paint, noise and a shared studio space.

Our studio is currently not wheelchair accessible. Guests who may require additional support are encouraged to contact us before booking so we can discuss their needs and whether the session will be suitable.

13. Limitation of Liability

Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Participation is voluntary, and guests are responsible for deciding whether the activity is suitable for them.

Alma Tipon t/a Paperdoll Art Studio cannot accept responsibility for indirect or consequential loss, or for damage to clothing, footwear, vehicles, personal belongings or other personal property.

Where liability does arise, the Studio’s maximum liability will be limited to the amount paid for the booking.

14. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled by contacting us at least 48 hours before the scheduled class start time.

Requests received less than 48 hours before the session will normally not be eligible for a refund, credit or rescheduling, including where a guest is unable to attend because of illness, travel disruption or a change of plans.

Late arrivals and failure to attend will be treated as a no-show, and the booking fee will be forfeited.

Where reasonably possible, we may offer a discretionary date change. Any exception is offered as a gesture of goodwill and does not change our standard cancellation policy.

Alma Tipon t/a Paperdoll Art Studio may cancel or reschedule a session due to artist illness, venue issues, health and safety concerns, insufficient attendance or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where we cancel a session, guests will be offered an alternative date, studio credit or a full refund..
