Let your child enjoy the messy painting you probably don’t want happening at home.
In this fun 1-hour class, children aged 7–16 will pour, drip, flick and splash paint onto their own 30 x 40cm canvas, with guidance from a DBS-checked practising professional artist.
They’ll choose their colours, learn simple techniques, and leave with a bold, colourful artwork they can feel proud of.

All your child needs to bring is their imagination and clothes that can handle a few colourful splashes.
What Happens in the Class
Your child will be welcomed into the studio and helped into their protective clothing.
They’ll then choose their colours with help from the artist, learn simple splatter painting techniques, and create their own canvas using pouring, dripping, flicking and layering.
The class is fun, energetic and creative, but children are guided throughout so they feel confident and supported.
No art experience is needed.

Do Parents Need to Stay?
No. This is a supervised drop-off class for children only.
Parents can relax in our communal waiting area or leave and return at collection time. Please make sure we have your correct contact details before the class begins.
Parents do not take part in this session.
If you would like to paint with your child, please book one of our family or private sessions instead.
How It Works

Paintings usually need around 3 days to dry. You can collect it from the studio later, or purchase a takeaway box for £5 if you would like to take it home the same day.
What Should My Child Wear?
We provide protective overalls, gloves, shoe covers and safety glasses.
Splatter painting can still get messy, so please dress your child in comfortable older clothes and shoes. Paint may occasionally reach clothing, shoes or personal belongings, so please leave valuables and jewellery at home.
Collection
Your child’s painting will be ready to collect approximately three days after the session.
You will have 14 days to collect it from the studio, arrange your own courier, or choose delivery.
For 30 × 40 cm canvases, you can also purchase a takeaway box for £5 and take the painting home on the day.

Free on-site parking is available when your vehicle registration is entered during checkout. Weekend parking must be registered in advance.
After passing through the black gate, turn left and wait by the yellow studio entrance. Your artist will meet you there before the class starts.
Important Arrival Information
Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts.
Classes begin promptly. Children arriving 10 minutes or more after the start time may not be admitted, as joining late can disrupt the experience for the other children.

The class is designed for children aged 7–16.

No. This is a public class and children from other families may attend. Each session is limited to a minimum of 2 to maximum of 12 children.

Parents do not participate in the Children’s Splatter Class. If you would like to create together, please book a family, private or Intro splatter session.

Every class is led by a DBS-checked practising professional artist who is experienced in working with children.

Protective equipment is provided, but splatter painting is naturally messy. Please send your child in older clothes and shoes that can get paint on them.

Please contact us at least 48 hours before the class if you need to cancel or reschedule. Changes requested within 48 hours are subject to our cancellation and rescheduling policy.
